Follow the heartwarming story of pediatric kidney transplant patient, Crystal. CBS DFW’s Robbie Owens interviewed Crystal, her parents, and Medical City Children's Hospital pediatric nephrologist, Dr. Albert Quan about how Crystal's kidney transplant helped save her parents' lives. As they were screened to be her kidney donors, they were both diagnosed with kidney cancer, something they likely would not have been tested for. Crystal’s aunt successfully donated her kidney and Crystal is on the road to recovery.
