One thing you may have forgotten when sending the kids back to school is prepping them for the upcoming fall allergy season in Dallas-Fort Worth.

According to Medical City Dallas Hospital allergy and immunology doctors, Robert Sugerman, MD, and  Stacy Silvers, MD, in late August or very early September, ragweed and cedar elm trees will begin pollinating, and allergy suffering will begin.

Dr. Silvers spoke to WFAA Channel 8 News' Marcus Moore about fall allergies and his recommendations for over-the-counter medications and non-drug alternatives that can be helpful for allergy sufferers.
