Zipline, Rock Wall Climbing, Interacting with Mini Horses for more than 100 Children

Camp for cancer patients at Medical City Children’s Hospital, as well as their brothers and sisters. Healthy siblings often feel alone and left out. Supportive, empathetic siblings make it easier for patients to face their treatments. The camp was started by Medical City Children’s Hospital so that patients would have a camp just 45 minutes from Dallas, allowing more of them to attend. This is Camp iHope’s fifth year. This year’s camp theme is “Laughter is the Best Medicine.”

Campers will enjoy a zipline, braiding hair for mini horses, rock wall climbing, canoeing and arts and crafts on Monday morning, along with other camp activities (swimming, fishing, etc.) to prepare for a “Barrel of Laughs” carnival that night.
